Applies to Mein Objekt as a product of Homo Ludens GmbH.
1. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the “Mein Objekt” online offering of Homo Ludens GmbH, including its related landing pages and subpages. It describes data processing when using the website, when submitting inquiries, and when using the embedded or already prepared sales and analytics tools. If individual functions have not yet been activated on a specific subpage, the relevant processing begins only once that function is actually activated.
2. Controller
Homo Ludens GmbH

Email: meik@homo-ludens.gmbh
Mein Objekt is a product of Homo Ludens GmbH.
3. Legal bases of processing
We process personal data only on the basis of applicable data protection law, in particular the GDPR and the TDDDG. Depending on the processing activity, we rely in particular on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps and contract performance), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations), and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Where consent is required for storing or reading information on your device, this is additionally based on the TDDDG.
4. Hosting and server log files
When you access our website, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This includes in particular the IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type, operating system, and access status. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure secure and stable operation, and detect misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Google Analytics 4 and Google services for audience measurement
After your consent, we load Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-KBHVGZX2). Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-85JJNKHZM4 is then loaded through it. We use this service to analyze website usage, measure reach, and optimize our offering.
This may involve processing page views, interactions, referrers, technical device and browser information, and event data. Events triggered on our website include meinobjekt_page_view, cta_click, generate_lead, booking_progress, and booking_complete. Google Analytics may also process its own technical identifiers and analytics cookies.
We use this analytics integration strictly on a consent basis. Without consent, neither Google Tag Manager nor the related analytics events are loaded. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG.
For Google measurement services, we rely on Google’s published privacy and contractual terms, in particular its standard data processing terms and the relevant measurement and privacy conditions. Where additional safeguards are required for international transfers, Google refers to standard contractual clauses and other transfer mechanisms provided by Google.
7. HubSpot for contact forms and inquiry handling
On selected pages, we use HubSpot to provide contact forms and process incoming inquiries in a structured way. When you submit a form, we process the information you provide, such as name, email address, company information, and message, as well as technical metadata related to form use (for example time of submission, IP address, page accessed, referrer, and technical device information).
Where the inquiry relates to initiating or conducting a business relationship, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in efficiently handling inquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If additional consents for further communication or marketing are requested in the HubSpot form, the legal basis for that is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Optional tracking or non-essential cookies set by HubSpot are used only after your consent.
8. Calendly for appointment booking
On selected pages, we use Calendly to book meetings. When you open a page with an embedded Calendly widget or open a Calendly link, a connection to Calendly servers is established. In that process, technical usage data such as IP address, timestamps, device and browser information, and interaction data may be processed. If you book an appointment, the appointment and contact details you enter are processed as well.
If you have consented to analytics, we also record booking progress in aggregated form through events such as booking_progress and booking_complete. These events serve only to evaluate our funnel and do not include free-text content that you enter on our website. Processing takes place for providing the booking function and for pre-contractual communication. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the appointment booking is based on your request. Where the embedded widget uses optional cookies or similar technologies, these are used only on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with the TDDDG.
9. External fonts, scripts, and technical third-party resources
Some pages of our offering load external resources such as webfonts, scripts, stylesheets, or libraries from third parties. These may include Google Tag Manager, libraries from technical content delivery networks, and scripts from HubSpot or Calendly. Personal data, especially your IP address, browser data, and referrer information, may be transmitted to the respective provider as soon as such resources are loaded.
Where these resources are used for optional analytics or conversion measurement, we load them only after your consent. Where a resource is technically required to provide a function you have requested, it is integrated on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or, if its use is based on your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
10. Recipients, processors, and third-country transfers
We use external service providers that process data on our behalf or are integrated as independent controllers. Depending on your usage and consent, this may include in particular Google (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4), HubSpot, and Calendly. Where legally required, we conclude data processing agreements with processors.
For Google, we rely on the contractual and privacy terms provided by Google as the basis of the collaboration. Where relevant, this includes standard contractual clauses or comparable transfer mechanisms provided by Google for international data transfers.
When certain services are used, the transfer of personal data to third countries, especially the United States, cannot be ruled out. Despite contractual safeguards, the level of data protection there may not fully correspond to the level within the EU.
11. Storage duration
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Server log files are retained only for a limited period. Inquiry data from contact forms, emails, or appointment bookings is stored for as long as needed for processing, follow-up, business initiation, and any legal documentation obligations.
We store the technically necessary consent information in the meinobjekt_cookie_consent cookie for up to 12 months and additionally in your browser’s local storage until you delete it or change your selection. Consent-based tracking data is processed according to your consent and the respective service settings, and is deleted or anonymized once the configured retention periods expire.
12. Your rights
Within the scope of the legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing activities. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with future effect. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
13. No obligation to provide data and no automated decision-making
You are generally not obliged to provide personal data to us. Without certain information, however, we may not be able to provide individual functions, in particular contact forms, appointment booking, or the handling of specific inquiries. No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place in connection with this online offering.
14. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, manipulation, unauthorized access, and other unauthorized processing. Our security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.
15. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy if the actual data processing, the services used, or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the version that applies.
16. Privacy contact
